About our home

A rural oasis in the city center of the historic district of San Juan. Luna 208 is a sustainable building with plenty of light, natural cross ventilation and open spaces. In 2009 Michy Marxuach an art curator restored the property and Fernando Lloveras a lawyer working with nature maintains the edible roof garden located in a separate terrace, which has unobstructed views of Old San Juan’s colorful houses and cobblestone streets. The building has three floors with much of her family’s life unfolding on the second and third floors. Ms. Marxuach decided to do something productive with the ground leve: An artist residency loft for experimental and research based art and education projects that seeks to transform social, political and economic realities in Puerto Rico.
