About our home

My cozy St. Petersburg studio overlooks the shining city lights every night. Located on the penthouse floor of a new building in the Kalinskiy District of St. Petersburg, it's only a 15 minute bus ride to the city center, and a fantastic place to see the city come alive at night with a glass of wine from the balcony. The space is comfortable but not overwhelming - the perfect way to enjoy Russia's crown jewel and cultural capital. A double bed and two fold outs mean there's room for everyone. This apartment is ideal for couples wanting to enjoy a romantic weekend away and solo travelers wanting a comfortable base to explore!

This is my main residence. I travel often and it seems a waste to keep it empty! I am open to offers all year round. After all, I'm always looking for an excuse to go somewhere new!

Most of the furniture can be easily rearranged to create dining spaces or additional sleeping spaces. Both the couch and orange chair fold out into beds. (Additional linens and pillows are in storage and will be provided on booking.)

I live with 1 cat, Dmitri. He is a Russian blue and therefore hypoallergenic. However, people with severe cat allergies probably shouldn't stay here. If your allergies are light to moderate, you will probably be fine.

Upon your request, Dmitri will stay at a pet hotel during your stay. This is best if you plan on bringing your own furry friend as Dmitri does not play well with other cats or dogs. However, if you are okay with taking care of him, he has no problems with humans and is a fun, fetch-playing cat!

The apartment is about a 15 minute walk (20 in the snow) from the metro station Lesnaya, just 3 stops outside the city center. In total it takes about 30 minutes to reach the center. There is also a trolleybus (31) which goes straight to the building and takes you right to the Petrogradskaya metro station.

There is a parking lot outside the building, but it is quite difficult to navigate. I would recommend this only for travelers who really need to drive.

For additional information on what to do and how to get there, please feel free to contact me! I can connect you with locals and give you all my tips. Hope to hear from you soon!

Where is it?

Just a short walk from St. Petersburg's famous Neva river and a 15 minute bus ride to the fashionable, central Petrogradskaya neighborhood, Kalinskiy District is the ideal place to stay for those who prefer proximity to the center with a quiet heart. Home to the mega shopping center Europolis. Historically, Kalinskiy district was the heart of St. Petersburg's industrial past. Lots of historical factories still stand and are accessible by foot. In true St. Petersburg fashion, beautiful parks are aplenty here. Walk down the street and stumble on a few.

Buzzy restaurants
Baklazhan, Trubina, Fazenda
Cool bars
These are best found in the city center, although there are a few gastropubs directly in the neighborhood. I am happy to advise you!
Cozy cafés
15 minutes on the bus to Petrogradskaya will take you to as many cozy cafes as you can name. Too many to name. I like Priyanosti i Radosti myself!
Retail therapy
Europolis, Akadem Park
Bit of culture
Finland Train Station Concert Hall
Walks in the park
Just walk down the street. But - Murinskiy Park, Botanical Gardents, and Tavricheskiy Garden are not far by transport.
Spot of exercise
Aquapark, Ice Skating Rink
Day tripping
Byborg, Kronstadt, Pushkin & Pavlovsk, Peterhof, Gulf of Finland. There are so many! I would be happy to advise and help you arrange one, perhaps with a local guide.
