About our home
The house was built during Stalin times, although the time of repression, but the houses built at this time are known for high quality: tall ceilings, thick walls, spacious and separated rooms. Despite the fact that it is a one bedroom apartment, it is very spacious: the master bedroom is rather big, loads of storage space, a living room with TV, which is a play space for children and a dining room for adults where it is nice to accept friends and have dinner. The house truly has its own personality and represents the best of Russian architecture: original fretwork on ceilings, big doors and windows with wide windowsills. The house is beautiful both from outside and inside. It also has an amazing view on Moscow river right from the kitchen window. The apartment is ideal for art and history lovers, it has some rare retro and authentic objects like vintage books, vintage wooden watch, some vintage dishes and cups. But the best part of the apartment is its location: right in central Moscow, a 10 minute walk from Kievskaya metro station, a walking distance to Arbat (the most popular tourist destination), Gorky park, Novodevichye pole (a park and an old church complex). Very close to Moscow State University, Moscow City Business complex and MosFilm. Loads of cafes, restaurants, parks nearby.
