About our home

This Stylish newly built Caribbean Apartment is nestled in the very central, safe and tranquil hill side neighborhood of Mary's Fancy Estate. It offers amazing views of Great Bay (which is the bay that borders the capital of the Dutch side: Philipsburg), surrounding islands, the Caribbean Sea and the lush green hills St. Maarten offers.

This 2-Bedroom, 1.5 bathroom Apartment is located on the lower level of a 4-Bedroom Villa and has its own entrance, parking and laundry room.

The living room goes over in a comfortable Porch Terrace on which you can take in the amazing views and looks out over a private garden.

More about us

  1. Being born in the Caribbean, having studied and worked in Europe, the calling was always there to return to my place of birth. My girlfriend and I (both in our mid 30's, no kids) enjoy travelling and favor authentic accommodation versus resort/hotel chains.

My mother lives across the street which makes it easy for any questions you might have.

Looking for a nice, cozy place to stay during Xmas 2011.

Where is it?

The neighborhood consists of approx. 6 villas on large plots of private land.
Each having their own large gardens which ensures privacy for all residents.

St. Maarten is an island that has 2 nations, being the Dutch side (capital: Philipsburg) and the French side (capital: Marigot). This makes the island unique and each side offers visitors a different experience. St. Maarten is renowned for its beautiful white sand beaches but also for its delightful gastronomy having more restaurants than days in the year. Areas like Grand Cas offer a wide range in restaurants from authenic local food to fine dining in Michellin star winning restaurants. The Dutch side has a bustling island night life with many bars, clubs, casinos that open until the early hours in the morning.

Don't miss great shopping in for instance Philipsburg, Maho which is all Duty Free on the Dutch side.

Check out how you will arrive on St. Maarten, this place (Sunset Beach Bar) offers great sights!
