About our home

Our cottage is situated in a former village, now suburb of Dolný Kubín - a small town in Northen Slovakia. It is 3 km from the centre, the same distance to the skiing resort Kubinská hoľa www.kubinska.sk. There is a stream next to the garden - wonderful atmosphere in summer (not for swimming). It is a quiet place for taking a rest. Downstairs is open area - kitchen and living room - except the hall and the bathroom. Two bedrooms with the toilet are upstairs. There is one double bed and a sofa.

More about us

  1. We are the family with two children 23 and 17 years old. They don´t like to travel with us any more. They do their plans on their own. But they like to meet our guests, too. I am a teacher at secondary school and my husband is a consultant. We did one home exchange and it was a great experience. We enjoyed it very much.

There are beautiful mountains in our region Orava - Roháče (Western Tatras)5O km, swimming pools in surroundings - the nearest Aquarelax 3 km - www.aquakubin.eu some with thermal water. Orava Castle is 15 km. Krakow is 90 km - unfortunately without a bus connection. it is possible to rent a car.
