About our home
The cottage is located 7km from the village Pribylina towards Strbske Pleso in the High Tatras. There is a living room with a fire place/ the ground floor/, two attic rooms /3 beds in each/, small kitchen, flushing toilet, shower with cold and hot water.
If you enjoy romantic atmosphere, if you wish to be far away from the city noise and city air and not too be far from the civilisation, this is the place to go. The are some more cottages which are about 50-70 meters apart, however they are in woods, so they do not interfere with other and you do not lose the feefling of pristine atmosphere. We use the cottage as a weekend house in sommer. Mornings are very nice, you would be amazed by birds singing in early mornings or if you like romantic evenings, we have a fire place with seats outside of the house /also inside in the living room/. In the evening when the sky is clear, you start wonder how many stars exist. If you know some star constellations, you quickly get lost- due to no "light smog" and no town nearby you can even clearly see Milky Way in summer.

My name is Lukas (32), my wife is Maria (30) and our daughter is Rebeka (1.5 years old). We love travelling. We were in the USA as exchange students during high school years, then came back several times. Except most of the European countries we travelled as backpackers during our college years to Mexico, Egypt, Marocco, Israel, Syria, Cuba, Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia and Singapore.
My parents are Jozef (62) and Jana (54), they both love travelling as well. They own the cottage and offered it for this exchange. It would be either them or me with my wife and our daughter who would participate in the exchange.
We live in Bratislava /close to Vienna/ and could offer you accommodation in our flat if you wish to use Bratislava as a stopover place.

Where is it?
Neighbourhood
As you can see the photo of "Krivan peak" as you are driving and approaching the cottage, meadows slowly turn into woods. This is where a cottage recreation area begins. The cottages are 50-100 meters appart, generally you cannot see your neighbours.
There is a good reason to come here if you want to stay away from city noice and you love nature. This is also a good base point for dailly trips in the Nothern Slovakia - the most beautiful and touristic part. This region was competing with Vancuver to host The Winter Olympic Games in 2010 /but did not win:)/.
Except for wonderful mounting hike trails in the High Tatras, you have some other options in the region such as-
