Our apartment is very centrally located. It is bright and spacious, perfect for 5 people. It is fully equipped (cable TV, stereo, kitchen with oven, microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher, air-conditioning, washing machine with drier, refrigerator and freezer etc.)
High-speed internet is available in the entire apartment - Wi-Fi connection.
There are 3 rooms - living room with kitchen (50 m2), masters bedroom (22 m2) and children room (25 m2) plus a bathroom and some smaller rooms.
The apartment has a balcony in the children room (closed) and an open terrace, accessible from the living room and kitchen.
We are a family of 5 (children 7, 12, 15; two girls and a boy). Janez is a marketing communications specialist, Katra works in marketing. We love to travel, especially driving around Europe for shorter holidays as we can't afford longer absence from work. And we still have to visit so many places.
Our apartment is situated in the city center of Ljubljana, capital of Slovenia. It has easy access from highways (near main road), main train and bus station is 2 minutes walk away. 5 min walk to the city center and all major attractions. There is a garage house under the building (public parking) with direct access to the building - you can park in the garage and enter the building directly from the garage, which is very convenient.
Bus station for the city buses is in front of the building. There is also a city bicycle rent station in the front of the house (www.bicikelj.si). We can also provide our bicycles (3-5) for local rides.
A grocery store is in the building, a bakery just across the street. Pharmacy is also in the building as are couple of fast-food diners and a coffee bar. Everything you might need is within 1 minute from the apartment. No better location in this town!
Ljubljana is a hidden treasure in Europe (wikitravel.org/en/Ljubljana), very nice place to visit and relax. It's a complete opposite of other capitals - very relaxed, small and easy to get around. You can cross the town on foot in 20 minutes, and visit main attraction in a day or two. Great coffees, great food, and great options for daily trips (Alps with famous Lake Bled are 50 km away, Adriatic sea is 100 km away). Venice 2 hour drive, Vienna 3,5 hour drive, Zagreb 1,5 hour drive and so on.
