Comfortable, spacious house tucked away in a quiet lane in up-market Constantia.
It is a well-appointed, double-story with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The living areas connect easily and lead onto the covered terrace and pool area that make for great summer entertaining. It is ideally suited to families or 2 couples visiting Cape Town looking for a comfortable retreat to further explore the Cape.
The house has 2 wings on either side of an entrance hall. The sleeping areas are to the left of the entrance. The main bedroom is downstairs with an en-suite bathroom. Nearby is a double bedroom with great views of the garden. There are two further bedrooms upstairs – one a twin bed and the other a single bed. Both upstairs bedrooms share the bathroom in the single bedroom. There is also an additional single bed in an open plan area upstairs, perfect for a child.
Take a walk through the nearby vineyards, or enjoy a glass of local wine at one of the nearby wine estates or watch the sunset from the historic Groot Constantia. Excellent outdoor trails along the Constantia greenbelt (walk, run or cycle) start adjacent to the house which then lead into the vineyards and mountains. There are an array of bar and restaurant options, catering for all tastes and ages. Savour award-winning cuisine at the nearby La Colombe, recently rated 76th at the World's Best Restaurant Awards 2016 in New York. Or enjoy al-fresco country cooking, family friendly restaurants, picnics, all located within the oldest wine-growing area in Southern Africa.
There are 2 shopping centres, Constantia Village and Reddam Centre, 5 minutes drive from the house. A 20 min drive will get you to a beautiful beach - Muizenberg, Clifton, Camps Bay.
Constantia is a leafy, green area with many oak lined avenues and large properties. It is a family-friendly upmarket suburb with easy access to the highways and to other areas in Cape Town.
