About our home

Our home was built in 1905 in Kimberley, a city known for the diamond rush in 1866 and depicts an english style architectural design. Kimberley, the capital of the Northern Cape province is situated in the centre of South Africa, between Johannesburg and Cape Town. It is surrounded by thorn trees and grasslands.

Kimberley is a great escape from the busy cities. It offers two malls, three historical pubs, restaurants, tourist attractions such as The Big Hole and William Humphrey's Art Gallery. Game farms offering safari tours are located within 60 kilometres from the city. We have a small CBD 15 minutes walk from our home that offers a true local cultural experience.

Our home has 4 large bedrooms, an extra large dining room with a snooker table, verandah, a beautiful garden and pool, wonderful for entertainment and relaxing. Spend the day at the poolside in a lush garden under clear blue skies. Have a sunset braai (barbecue) in a beautiful lush patio setting which can linger on until late whilst enjoying the flames. End the evening with afew games of pool with african beats playing in the background.
