About our home

Comfortable apartment style home in one of Cape Town's most prestigious seaside suburbs.

Camps Bay is known for its outstanding beaches and breathtaking scenery, including the iconic Table Mountain (walking distance) and Robin Island just a short drive away.

Open plan lounge/dining/kitchen/TV room leading out onto wooden deck with pool overlooking Lion's Head in the distance and Table Mountain in your view - lovely for sundowners or just relaxing next to the pool. The swimming pool is not protected, which is why we prefer only adults to stay here. Sorry, otherwise we would've been happy to accommodate kids, unless you are willing to take the risk.

Double main bedroom en-suite with shower over bath (shower curtain) and king-size bed, doors leading to pool. Two additional rooms, one with King-size bed (can be split to 2 single beds) with sml family bathroom with bath & free standing shower. Smaller room with 1 x double bed & sml ensuite shower room. (Please note: Cape Town is in a water crises, so short, sharp, showers are recommended. We request that you do not waste water unnecessarily).

Beach & city centre a simple Uber ride away. Table Mountain is your 'back yard' - great walks directly onto the mountain two streets away. Lion's Head walk is amazing on a sunset/full moon evening (torches available). Fantastic restaurants, too many to choose from, and all you can come to expect in Cape Town. Parking is off street.

Please take note: This property comes with a cat and Sheila, our friendly Jack Russel, whom everyone loves. You'd have to love and feed them whilst you're here. Because this is a shared apartment block, respect for the other tenants is requested - absolutely no loud parties whatsoever, no functions, and no smoking. Cleaning can be arranged on request at the going rate in SA. This would need to be arranged in advance.

Though our home is not fancy, the surrounding areas are the best ever and you will have a super time. Quick 10 minute down-hill scenic stroll to Camps Bay beach - 30 minute up hill walk back (or catch an Uber).

We are looking to swop for extended stays with similar property to accommodate our family over Christmas/new year in London, Utrecht/Amsterdam or other areas of Europe. Also looking for short weekend swops in South Africa.

Prefer to include cars in swop so we don’t have to hire. We have an 8 seater VW Combi or an old soft top Mini which is super for nipping around CPT. We'd need to add you to our insurance, so just let us know.
