About our home

Our home is in the mountain side of Simon's Town. Our home has been a 4 star guest house for the past 12 years, but we have now closed the accommodation as we travel quite frequently. Simon's Town is a safe area and we live in that village. The house is large and can accommodate 6 adults. There are 3 double bedrooms ensuite, one small kitchen with sitting area, one kitchenette off one of the bedrooms and the main kitchen, dining room and lounge. We have a small office with broadband access, telephone etc. There is a double garage with one being in use the other part of a large art studio. There is a large patio on the third level, with barbecue facilities and a large number of seating options. We have a lovely garden which has access to paths that wind down to the village. We supply all the linen more than enough for weekly changes. We can offer the services of a cleaning maid. The garden is serviced. All the accommodation has wonderful views of the Ocean, Yacht Marina, Naval Harbour. The house is beautifully furnished and is in the style of a beach house. The kitchens have a variety of equipment, small stove/oven, larger stove/oven, some bar fridges, two normal fridges, freezer in the garage, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer. Loads of reading books, maps and info on Cape Town. The lounge and dining room are newly decorated and lead onto a large veranda with table and chairs. This is on the middle level together with the main kitchen and office and guest toilet. There is a gas fireplace (not often needed) My husband,George and I do travel extensively but since closing the guest house have decided to swap our beautiful house with other lovely homes. We normally travel just the two of us but usually for a short period our son and daughter in-law from England my join us. The time frame would be probably for a week with them and then we would be just the two of us for some extra time. After being involved and looking after our guests and our home for the past 12 years in pristine condition, we certainly know how to look after someone else's home. Let us know your thoughts. We can also offer a unit which has two double bedrooms two bathrooms en suite, a kitchen and sitting area. A large patio with wonderful views of the Ocean, mountains as is in the main house. Our art studio is always available to our guests. George and Venitia.
