Our house is a child-friendly family home in the heart of the charming suburb of Harfield Village, Claremont. The house has wooden floors, a small garden, and very sunny rooms. Perfect for a family holiday in Cape Town without being in the crowds of the City Bowl. We don't have pets.
The small suburb of Harfield Village (in the greater suburb of Claremont) is known for its charming cottages and high street full of lovely restaurants. There are three child-friendly parks all within walking distance. Both the Atlantic and Indian Oceans (with their stunning beaches) are fifteen minutes away in the car, but you can also catch the train in either direction - the station is a quick walk away! The magnificent Kirstenbosch Gardens are five minutes by car, as is Cavendish Square. It is safe to walk around the streets here - and there are many other families with little ones.
I am a journalist and my husband is a scriptwriter and runs his own DVD home delivery service. We have a little girl of 2. We are open-minded, interested in current affairs, and enjoy cinema, books and music.
