The bed is a king size extra length and the mattress is premium quality. You will get a great nights sleep here!
The bathroom has a shower - regrettably there is no bath.
The kitchen has a coffee grinder with several plungers, large fridge, microwave and large gas oven (Smeg), ceasar stone tops. Nicolaas (my partner) is a chef and the Kitchen is well stocked with chef appliances etc.
A modern HD flat screen TV is provided in the lounge as well as the bedroom. There is PVR DSTV in both the bedroom and the lounge with two separate decoders so that you can watch separate programs on the two separate TV sets.
The apartment is 86sqm in size.
There is super fast WIFI (we run apple TV off our WIFI and never have any issues. You are welcome to bring your own laptop and run your own TV shows through the Apple TV).
There is a communal garage with one parking space which allows for safe access to parking within the building. Please stick to the allocated parking space.
You will also receive an access tag to the building should you need to access the building through the main door.
Interaction with Guests
We welcome our guests and give an orientation of the apartment and neighbourhood, and are always contactable. An information pack on what to do in Cape Town is also provided.
Salt River is adjacent to Woodstock, both being areas that are undergoing extensive regeneration. The area is very trendy with lots creative activities to do. Devils Peak Brewery is a stones throw away which is great for pub lunches and they also arguably, serve the best burger in Cape Town. The Biscuit Mill is within walking distance which is great for early Saturday morning strolls whilst sampling some delectable treats from their food market. The Biscuit Mill also hosts some great restaurants - the award winning Test Kitchen and its sister restaurant, Pot Luck Club as well as Italian foodie heaven, Burata.
The Woodstock exchange is 1.9km's away and Observatories eateries are less than 1km.
There is also a well stocked Spar very close by for grocery shopping.
The apartment has easy access to both the N1 and the N2 with good public transport links and I have never waited longer than 5mins for an Uber.
Other Things to Note
We like our neighbours so please respect them by not making a noise in the communal areas when returning home late at night. THANKS! :)
There are two balconies in the apartment - you are more than welcome to smoke on the balcony but PLEASE do not smoke in the apartment.
