About our home

Our very comfortable old home (150+ years) was totally renovated 2 years ago. It consists of 3 large bedrooms all with double beds and the main bedroom has an en suite bathroom with bath, shower, toilet and washbasin, and the second bathroom has the same. The best feature of our home is the wonderful location and spectacular 180 deg sea and mountain views, with a tidal pool across the way and the beach 5 min stroll.
The kitchen is equipped with fridge/freezer, gas hob, eye level oven, microwave oven, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee percolator, toaster, kettle.
All beds are standard double, with cotton bedlinen, feather/down duvets in 2 rooms and fibrefill duvet in 3rd room (should anyone suffer from allergies), electric blankets.
Bathtowels are supplied, but we ask you to bring your beach towels.
Car exchange optional.
We love our home and appreciate all it has to offer, and would treat any home exchanged, with as much care as we give our own.
Housekeeping can be arranged on request at a fee.

More about us

  1. My wife Pam and I (Johan) are in our early 60s with 2 grown sons. We sometimes travel alone, or with very close friends or family (max 4 travellers). I am an entrepreneur and Pam works for an international airline. We have exchanged homes twice before, very successfully, and look forward to doing so again. We spent 5 months touring North America during the winter 2006-07, having purchased an RV and motorbike, covering about 25000 miles during that period - an experience of a lifetime, and would not be averse to exchanging our home for a motorhome. We love to explore interesting cities and touring beautiful countrysides. We would love to visit San Francisco and North California again.
