About our home

We offer a split level apartment in the centre of the cosy Fishing Village of Hout Bay on 2 minutes from the beach and 20 minutes from Cape Town and the Constantia Winelands.
The Split level very sunny apartment is situated on the 2nd floor (elevator available) of a small apartment complex. The apartment has open plan living room with and dinner-table and an open kitchen with bar and a big balcony on front of the building with Sea and table mountain view. On the top floor are the 2 bedrooms both own shower and toilet and a big balcony.
Part time cleaner available.


More about us

  1. After our study Tourism & Economics we travelled 12 years for our work all over the work till we moved in 1996 to South Africa where we felt in love with Hout Bay, and we are still there. We have 2 kids 11 & 12 and we started more than 10 years a travel company for Southern Africa (See my Homepage)

Where is it?


The apartment is part of a small apartment buildings with 16 apartment, situated on the main road 2 minutes walk from the beach and the shops (like the spar supermarket, several restaurants and variety of shops). On 5 minutes walk is the small idyllic fishing village and a few minutes’ drive is the other part of the village with also several shops like Woolworth ect. and the entrance to Chapman’s Peak what lead to Cape Point. From Hout Bay at the back of Table Mountain it is 20 minutes drive to Cape Town, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens and to the Constantia Winelands. Hout Bay is central situated between all mayor attractions and well-know hiking and cycling possibilities as well as the 15 golf courses in an hour drive.
