About our home

My home is a one bedroom apartment in Vredehoek, Cape Town situated in an elevated position with great views over the City Bowl. The apartment is in a nine-unit oldish block of flats with great neighbours. It has fibre wifi and modern fittings, with parquet floors. it is very light and airy with lots of north and west facing views of the mountain and the bay. I would want the occupier to look after my very independent cat who doesn't need much attention but just a feed once or twice a day.

More about us

  1. I live alone in Cape Town but have a partner in Zimbabwe and two grown up children in France and Guernsey respectively

  2. I have a PhD in land and agrarian studies. I am a social science researcher associated with a University but work freelance mainly with NGOs. My field of expertise is land tenure and land reform.

  3. I grew up on a farm and love rural life (but also like city life). I would love to be in a small cosy rural home or an apartment in a rural village

It has wonderful views over the city. It is close to the iconic Cape Town Gardens and hundreds of trendy restaurants around and in the city central area.
