About our home

Thank you for viewing my listing. Please note: For the December 2021 period I will consider a points exchange for as close to the full period (17 December -3 January) as possible, or a negotiated exchange with a home in New York/ Brooklyn or NSW Australia. No other destinations at this stage, I'm afraid.

My spacious one bedroom apartment is located right in the heart of Cape Town's exclusive and prestigous V&A Waterfront. The Marina Residential estate is one of the most sought after locations to live in in Cape Town - it is a true oasis right in the heart of the city.
Excellent security (24 hour manned entrance) , privacy and quiet ( surprisingly so for its central location) are some of the things I love about the Marina. From here I walk to the V & A Waterfront craft shed, shopping centre and restaurants. The One and Only hotel and spa are located about 300 meters away.

There are several pools on the estate. There is also a gym for residents.

The apartment itself is sophisticated, spacious and surprisingly quiet for its central location. The apartment has recently been renovated by one of South Africa’s top designers. The fully equipped kitchen has all mod cons including a dishwasher and washing machine. The apartment has an en suite bathroom as well as a guest toilet. Upon request, the king size bed can be converted into twin beds.

I especially enjoy the elevated outside patio with its greenery and views of the canal.. Both the living room and bedroom open onto the patio.

The apartment has uncapped high speed fibre wifi and Netflix.
Safe outdoor parking.

From the Marina it is a quick drive to get onto the highways leading to the winelands (Stellenbosch, Franschoek) and towards the False Bay side of Cape Town ( Kalk Bay, Kirstenbosch). The open red double decker tourist buses depart just around the corner from the apartment.

  1. I mostly travel solo. Sometimes my children or a friend may join me.

  2. I am an experienced home exchanger. I have done more than 25 successful home exchanges over the past years in Europe, the US and Australia. I enjoy travelling abroad to visit my children and grandchildren.
