This house offers the best of all worlds - set up on the mountain slopes it has dramatic sea views of Hout Bay and the Cape Peninsula and yet is set in lush leafy gardens and is minutes from all of Cape Town's joys. So stay at home lazing by the pool, preparing meals outdoors or in the huge kitchen (delicious Hout Bay food market and fish fresh off the boats in Hout Bay's little harbour) or experience the beaches, fantastic restaurants and nightlife, wine routes and splendour of Cape Town - voted world's most desirable lifestyle city.

Too many to choose from! Hout Bay has some fantastic on-the-beach seafood restaurants, and a wonderful fresh food market on the weekends but within minutes one can access the hundreds of gastro-bistros of Cape Town, Camps Bay, Constantia etc
Cool bars
Dunes (on the beach) is great and there are some cozy "locals", but for more razzle head to Camps Bay or Cape Town
Retail therapy
Cape Town centre for stylish and quirky shops or the Waterfront for all the labels
Bit of culture
Robin Island or the Historic Wine Estates, established in 1600's
Walks in the park
You can walk onto the mountain from the house or take some of the spectacular routes up Table Mountain just a few minutes drive away
Spot of exercise
Cycling, surfing, running along Chapmans Peak cliffs, horse rinding on the beach, abseiling, hang gliding - this is the ultimate outdoor adventure destination
Day tripping
Cape Point, Franschhoek/Stellenbosch Wine Route, whale-watching or shark diving at Hermanus, penguins, yacht cruises etc etc etc!
