About our home

Our Guest House which my wife Sylvia manages has all the amenities which one would expect of a 4 star graded establishment. We were also a semi-finalist in the AA Travel Guides accomodation awards 2004. There is a bar with full size billiard table, a large garden with abundent bird life and butterflies. Early mornings watch Monkeys carry their babies with them on their way to the surrounding bush.

More about us

We are Darryl and Sylvia both heading into 50's!
Sylvia manages our Guest House and I have a function hiring and theme decor business. We have two sons,both currently on their working/holiday student visas in England. The elder David is currently working in London and is due back early 2007. His brother has followed in his footsteps and has been there since May 2006.
We have travelled fairly extensively and wish to do a lot more. House swop we hope will make it more viable. My interests have varied over the years but have included, diving, camping, veteran cars and yachting
We have RCI TIMESHARE available anywhere in SA
(depending on availability at their various resorts) which we can arrange to swop should you wish to go elsewhere other than our Guest House in Durban.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Durban North which is the suburb where we are located is known as the "garden suburb". Only 15 minutes to either the city and central beaches or Umhlanga Rocks beaches. Situated on the main suburban road with easy and quick access to the main highways makes travelling to other destinations simple.
Durban is a sun filled holiday experience with beautiful beaches, big shopping malls, nightclubs, Ushaka Marine Park, restaurants and a lot more!
