“Janene was such a wonderful and warm host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is close to a lovely dam where the kids enjoyed swimming. The dairy farm isn't far so we could have a look at the cows getting milked and taste some of the fresh milk. The surroundings are peaceful and there are many beautiful hikes on the property. Make sure to take the kids' bikes. They loved cycling on the dirt roads around the cottage. We will definitely be back.”

Janene's reviews
As a host (2)“What an amazing experience on a beautiful farm. The house is fabulous - lots of space, a well stocked kitchen with all the crockery you could ever need. The big , lower BBQ was great to sit around in the evening and braai. We had planned on exploring Ceres while we were there and we didn't actually leave the farm as there was so much for us to do. We spent days swimming across the dam and jumping into a waterfall that the kids adored. We took walks around the farm and even got to visit the dairy , which for city kids was quite a treat. Don't be too concerned about the living off the grid, we went expecting no power and more of a glamping holiday and yet it had everything that we needed (lights, hot water, fridge) and we were able to charge a cellphone or two with no drama. There was a gas hob as well. Thank you Janene for such a memorable weekend away and we hope that we would be able to come back again soon. ”
