We live in Cape Town with our two grown up daughters. We love the outdoors, particularly sailing, boating and anything to do with the ocean. We also love...
Where is it?
Green Point is really well situated if you'd like to visit the Cape - we're in the middle of the Atlantic Seaboard so very close to all the beaches and promenade for walking or only minutes from the V&A Waterfront for shopping and the CBD.
Being so close to the N1 and N2 means you can visit all the wine farms very easily and Somerset West / Stellenbosch etc is only 45 minutes away.
Green Point is home to the famous World Cup stadium (now used for concerts and rugby 7's for example) and only 5 minutes walk from the house or you could stroll to the Urban park with the kids and Mouille Point for a nice walk along the front.
From our house you can walk to Woolworths or Spar for food shopping or simply nip down to the local pizzeria's and bakery's only 5 minutes away - it's super central and a lovely feel to the area.
