Our getaway in the idyllic village of Greyton, 2 hours from Cape Town, is newly built with sandbags in the style of a typical Greyton Victorian cottage. Set on 2000m2, our home is on the edge of the spectacular Greyton Nature Reserve with the Riviersonderend Mountains all around. Situated in the quiet, top end of the village, but a lovely walk or quick drive into the centre of Greyton for fantastic restaurants, shops and weekly market. It is our happy place.
We are a family of 4, with 14 year old son and a nine year old daughter.
Stuart is a director with a large IT firm, and Kathy works for an animal advocacy NGO
We love exploring new places, and being in the great outdoors. We are enthusiastic hikers and with the Riviersonderend mountains on our doorstep, our cottage is very much our Happy Place! We don't rent our cottage out, but are happy to share it with people who will treat it like their own, knowing that we will do the same.
