About our home

Our lovely designer home is situated in the beautiful seaside village of Hermanus in the Overburg just 2 hours from Cape Town towards the Garden Route. The house has two double ensuites and one twin room with a separate bathroom, surrounding a tranquil garden and pool. The house is just one street away from the ocean and the spectacular "Cliff Path" that winds along the Hermanus coastline and takes you into Hermanus village (15 min walk) with its restaurants, art galleries, and boutique shops. Hermanus is known as the top destination in the world for Whale Watching. The Southern Right and Humpback Whales migrate from the southern ocean to calf from Aug to Nov every year. Hermanus is situated in the Hemel-And-Arde coastal wine region known for its spectacular Pinot Noir. Creation Wine estate is just 20 min drive from the house and was voted #30 in the top wine producers in the world. Hermanus also has 2 Blue Flag beaches, lovely hiking and biking trails, as well as three of the top 20 golf courses in South Africa

We're a married couple with two small children
My wife has a business that supplies baby goods and I'm in property development
We both love travelling for work and pleasure. Our favorite activities are skiing and diving and we try and get to the slopes every year. We've travelled extensively in South Africa, mostly safari and winelands, so please ask for our recommendations!
