About our home

Our home is well-built in the 1930s, so classified as a heritage home. It has thick walls, insulation above the ceiling, so cool in summer and warm in winter. It has a slate roof, a security gate and security beams around the house, serviced by a security company. There is parking for four vehicles. The house is located in a leafy suburb, one street up from the Main Road and within walking distance of shops and the famous Cliff Path . It has a well-kept garden, watered from a wellpoint, which has never run dry.

Sleeps 6, NOT 8: Accommodation is 2 double bed bedrooms, both with washbasins, one also with shower and toilet. and 2 single bed bedrooms. 1 separate full bathroom, another with shower, toilet and washbasin, lounge, family/TV room (both with wood-burning stoves), open plan kitchen with built in stove and oven and dining area, with adjoining scullery with 2 fridges, washing machine and dishwasher, outdoor entertainment area with built-in barbecue and bar fridge. TVs in both lounge and TV room, WiFi, automatic irrigation system, pre-paid electricity meter, Micro wave, slowcooker, soupmaker, electrical can opener, coffee grinder, blender, toaster, kettle, iron, hot trays in both dining room and outdoor entertaining area

Beyond the golf course lies the Fernkloof Nature Reserve, home to a wide variety of indigenous flower species, and exciting hiking trails in the mountains.
