Neighbourhood

Our house is situated in the nature reserve estate called "Tierboskloof". It is an absolutely beautiful estate situated in the slopes of the table mountain group overlooking the fishing village of Hout Bay. I suggest that you visit the website (www.tierboskloof.com) to get more information.
Hout Bay is a suburb of Cape Town. There is a very good bus service to the city centre. Hout Bay itself has many good restaurants, shops and markets. It is also close to the historical Constansia Wine Route.
The beach is one km long and is ideal for evening walks. The beautiful Chapmans Peak drive winds its way out of Hout Bay onto the rest of the Cape Peninsula. Chapmans Peak drive is great for scenic walks, rides or picnics. The drive from Hout Bay around the peninsula to Cape Point is a highlight.
