About our home

Set in a quiet secure estate at the top of a mountain overlooking the quaint village of Hout Bay.

Our 3 bedroomed, elegantly furnished home gives you the feeling of being on top of the world. You are surrounded by comfort and luxury and so much space. You will want to just stay at home and enjoy the views & the most glorious sunsets.
From the back patio you can watch the squirrels and the guinea fowl clambering in the fynbos (foliage exclusive to the Cape)
From the front patio you have 180 degree view of the bay! Watch the fishing boats go out, water sports & that sunset. By night it is just a sea of twinkling lights as you look down over the village . We are situated high up against the mountain .

The swimming pool and the tennis court and squash court are in the estate - not in our garden so you will need to walk to these facilities which are about 200 m from our front door. It is a very quiet estate so you're more likely to be alone at the pool and have facilities to yourself

As a historic and still-working fishing village, Hout Bay's local colour and beautiful scenery make it a popular tourist attraction among both local and international visitors. There are a variety of fine restaurants in the village
The Red Bull Big Wave Africa surfing contest is held on the other side of the Sentinel mountain, at the famous Dungeons. Some of the biggest waves in the world are found here and these attract surfers from all over the world. The competition can only be held during May to August, when the waves reach heights of 15 ft (4.57 m) to 20 ft (6.10 m).

Accessible by Car. We have space in a double lock up garage for 2 cars.
Uber in the area is also easily available.
No public transport without having a very long walk downhill - fine if you are very fit though.

Cleaner is payable directly at a fee of R 350 per day - Pay direct
