About our home

This is our dream home. It has 2 bedrooms en suite and a further cottage with 2 bedrooms bathroom and lounge. The house has been decorated to the highest standard. The house is sunny and pretty.

The house is very comfortable with a very large main bedroom king size bed dressing room and large bathroom with bath and shower. The main bedroom has TV and Video, it also has aircon.
The second bedroom has queen bed with TV en suite bathroom with bath and shower
There is a TV room which leads onto covered patio and beautiful little garden. A plunge pool is to be added in 2013.
The house has underfloor heating. There is a large dining room with interleading lounge.
The kitchen is large with granite tops and eat in. The kitchen has a deep freeze dishwasher and fridge and pantry.
There is a laundry room with washer and dryer. Double garage.
There is a cottage with 2 bedrooms lounge and bathroom with bath and shower. The cottage has its own entrance. The house has an alarm system and electric fence which is connected to a security company 24 hours.

More about us

Ken and I are home loving people. We are now seniors and our children are married and out of the house. We have 2 children and 3 grandchildren. Our one child and one grandchild live in Sydney.
Ken is a woodworker and has a fully equipped workshop in the garage.
I love gardening so we have a very pretty garden.
I am a tidy fanatic so our home is very clean and tidy.
We love entertaining so we have a large BBQ and and patio with seating for 8 and 2 loungers.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

The house is set in a tree lined street in a quiet suburb.
There are restaurants in walking distance as well as numerous shops.
The bus stop to the Gautrain is 1/2 block away.
We are 2 hour drive to Sun City and 3 1/2 hour drive to Kruger National Park. 5 hour drive to Durban. A 2 hour flight takes you to Cape Town.
We are 1 hour drive to the beautiful mountain range of the Magaliesberg.
The house is ideal for a base to tour South Africa and its many beautiful spots.
