About our home

Our homely cottage is the front section of a large seaside home. The house is divided into three dwellings, two dwellings are occupied by our permanent tenants and the other section is our holiday home. It is set in the 'coolest neighbour hood in the world' as rated by the recent poll on Forbes magazine. Kalk Bay is a bustling gem that rises before the shimmering Indian Ocean. For those seeking spectacular nature, gastronomic feasts, world class boutique shops and a brilliant position from which to explore the rest of the marvels of Cape Town from, Kalk Bay will not fail to please. The cottage is set ever so slightly on the hem of the bustling village (3 minutes to the first cafe), yet positioned perfectly in line of the quaint working fishing harbour, where fresh fish is bought in on beautiful wooden hulled fishing boats and manned by fishermen who's families have kept this culture alive in Kalk Bay for hundreds of years.

This is a light and spacious cottage with stunning views of Kalk Bay and the harbour.
There is off street parking at the bottom of the cul-de-sac.

The toilet and shower are located next to the kitchen and living area.

There is a lush grassy mostly indigenous garden, fully fenced in.

The bedroom is light and airy with great cupboard space and it also has a lovely mountain view from the bedroom window.
The one couch in the lounge is a single day bed which can accommodate a child or single adult.

The house is on the main road.
