Our wonderful Knysna house is a place of serene beauty and tranquility. Situated on Leisure Isle on the Lagoon. Tourists flock to Knysna year after year to delight in it's many attractions and wonderful weather
The house is a typical 'Island' house. Stylish, but comfortable with upmarket furnishings and everything one would require for a wonderful holiday. The house is set in lovely, private tree-lined horseshoe lane, overlooking a green onto the lagoon itself.
Knysna is nestled on and around the stunning lagoon, a haven of bird and wildlife. The home of the Kynsna sea horse!
It has all the amenities of an established town with shops, art galleries, restaurants, coffee shops, hospitals etc. With the added attraction of a chic waterfront area.
Leisure Isle is an island set on the Lagoon, situated close to the famous Knysna Heads. Where you will find warm swimming waters and a lazy day-to-day island style of living, just minutes away from the bustle of Knysna itself.
Across the Lagoon is Featherbed nature reserve and hikes can be taken from the top of the Head, stopping to view inlets and caves that cut into the terrain.
There are many mountain bike, trail-running and other races organised in and around the town throughout the year and the famous Oyster Festival is a highlight of every-ones calendar.
Many other sports, hikes and watersports are enjoyed in the area, such as boating, waterski-ing, kayaking, mountain biking, airiel-paragliding, hiking and rock climbing. Just to name a few. There are also many top-class Golf clubs around Knysna itself with Pezula, Simola and Knysna clubs all within a few minutes drive of the House.
For any discerning traveller, family or single persons. Feel welcome and come and explore Knysna and the Isle's hidden gems of this, most beautiful of places.
