“The pictures shown doesn't do justice to the actual house. The house is spacious, beautiful and very comfortable. We had a fantastic 5 days. Had wonderful sittings both from in Marloth and driving in the Kruger Park. Hope to be able to go again.”

Patricia's reviews
As a host (6)“THIS WAS One of THE best of nearly 30 swaps we have done. We would certainly go back especially if we had children and grandchildren willing to come to Africa,. You are in game park type country, and may find antelope or warthogs in the garden. Driving on the nearby tracks you may see larger antelopes, You are only about 150metres from the southern fence of Kruger NP and from the track by that fence can see the elephants in the Crocodile River valley clearly. Houses in MP are often in a group of 2 or three fairly close together, but you cannot see the next cluster because the bush/trees are dense. In MP there is a small but good shopping centre including the security office where you pick up the keys. The house is as described or better and we loved it. There are restaurants/lodges within MP for eating out and others just outside MP. Best NOT to arrive in the dark as finding a house within MP is best in daylight...our mistake.”
“What can we say about this awesome Safari Lodge. Words are hard to describe it! Luxurious game reserve lodge, superb view from the spacious balcony onto a garden unspoilt by nature and with lots of varieties of animalis happily wandering through in their natural environment monkeys, zebra, wildebeest etc. We walked 5 minutes from the lodge to view hippos in the river and elephants and Kudu wandering along the river banks. The Lodge had everything anyone would want as far as facilities are concerned and Marloth Park is in a secure estate served by a choice of wonderful restaurants and other facilities. The Tourist office, run by Louise, deserves a special mention as she was brilliant in organising tours for us and her knowledge of the area etc was unprecedented. Finally to Jim and Patsy. Thank you both so much for letting us use your wonderful Safari Lodge, Hakuna Matata , and thank you for all the help and advice which made our trip to Kruger such a memorable holiday of a lifetime. Tom and Patsy Fitzpatrick. John and Suzie Gray. Ireland”
“This was our second swap and also our second swap we ever have done. The house is fantastic, large and very nicely decorated with a lot of details from South Africa. Unfortunately we didn't spend so much time there, but it's sure a place you would like to stay in longer. We got a tour guide on recommendation from Jim and it turned out to be a very good one. We had two lovely days in the park. To and from the restaurants you drive close to impalas, zebras, monkies, worthogs. The last day when we went home from the restaurant there were about 10 giraffes along the road, some of them totally blocking it. This place is for real that's for sure! I can highly recommend this house and the hosts have been so helpful with everything.”
“We were so pleasantly surprised with this swap! The house is really like a lodge. Warm and cosy environment. The house is very large and comfortable. It is easy to get to, and it is very well equipped. We often stay in Kruger National Park, but this is much better. You can get to Kruger in 15 minutes. Highly recommended ”
“This was our first swap. I was optimistic; my husband was skeptical. We were both completely blown away. Patsy and Jim are super communicative, so we knew exactly what to expect. Except the house...the house was 1000x more beautiful that we ever expected. From day one we had animals literally at the doorstep. From Marloth Park we were able to take day trips to different places every day. It was a perfect family holiday for us. Highly recommend. . ”

The best things about our home are listening to hippo and lion at night while you BBQ in full safety up on our deck while bush babies visit and wakening to the sound of elephants playing in the river just the other side of Kruger National Park fence! Watching zebra, kudu and impalas walk through your garden and feeling as though you are staying in the garden of Eden!
