About our home

Our large, part-double volume house is on the edge of the friendly and famously alternative village of McGregor, just 2 hours' drive from Cape Town and in the heart of a fascinating (and safe) area of the Western Cape. The back gate leads into a nature reserve, and the house looks out towards the stunning mountains of the Robertson wine valley. It has an open plan, double volume living area with a large modern kitchen and lounge, a courtyard and shady verandahs on two sides. There is gorgeous, blue sky weather almost all year round. It is ideal for a truly relaxing holiday, just lazing around at the house, or venturing forth to explore wine farms, mountain passes, historic villages, and beautiful inland or coastal scenery (2 hours' drive to the coast).
