About our home

This charming little cottage was built in 1888 as a workers abode on the farm Riviersonderend in McGregor - a rural, quaint, well preserved village in the Breede River wine land close to Robertson. Today it is a fully equipped self catering retreat, still boasting its old clay walls and reed ceiling that keeps you cool in the hot summer. PEpper Tree Cottage is the genuine, authentic heritage experience on the edge of the little town - secluded yet within walking distancece from excellent restaurants, wine tastings hubs and wellness treatments.
