About our home
We are right next door to one of the world's most magnificent botanical gardens - Kirstenbosch. Our mountain view home has a pool and comes with a dog, a cat and a parrot. We love to cook and have a open plan kitchen with all the amenities. Our home is just 15 minutes from most of Cape Town's best beaches, and 5 minutes from the oldest wine region in South Africa, where you will find fine dining and wonderfully robust wines.

Marina and I are "empty nesters" with 3 grown children and a grandchild. Although, our nest is not that empty, since we have a dog ( Robbie), a cat (Sam) and parrot (Nelson) sharing our living space.

Marina is a counsellor with a practice that she runs from home, while I'm happily retired

We get to travel a fair amount, albeit not always at the same time. We love visiting new places and are enthusiastic foodies. We enjoy cooking (Marina is the expert here) and are always on the lookout for a good bottle of red. In our spare time we hike the beautiful routes around our home or wherever we find an inviting trail on our travels.
