About our home

Our home is a large family home of 450m square. The best feature is the sweeping views across False Bay & Silvermine Mountains. We're also situated in a security village: while Cape Town is generally very safe, some people prefer the added security.

Upstairs there is a large lounge, TV Room, barbecue room, dining room & kitchen area. There also a master bedroom (bathroom & dressing room en-suite), and two other bedrooms (one with a double bed, one with a single bed) & playroom for kids. There is a full bathroom shared by these two bedrooms.

Downstairs we have a-self contained "granny" flat + small bathroom (shower only), as well as a large sun room, gym and another dining room/barbecue room with pizza oven.

There is a lovely pool at the back of the house which is also reasonably private. The garden is a fairly small "fynbos" garden (the erf size is 1000m square).

Besides easy access to Cape Point, Hout Bay (via Chapman's Peak), the Constantia Valley vineyards etc, the family-friendly Fish Hoek beach is some 10 minutes drive away. There are 3 top class golf courses within 15 minutes drive - Steenberg, Westlake & Clovelly. The whole area is also extremely popular for water sports such as surfing, kite sailing, wind surfing etc. For those that enjoy more strenuous pursuits such as hiking & trail running, we are almost entirely surrounded by Table Mountain National Park (which stretches from the famed Table Mountain all the way to Cape Point).
