About our home

The wooden cabin situated on the Breede river in the heart of the wine lands neighbouring olive farms. Less than two hours’ drive from Cape Town.
With abundant bird and wildlife, this is a relaxing escape to nature. The closest shops are a 40 minutes’ drive but the neighbouring farmers are a 7 minutes’ walk away and would be happy to assist.
The cabin consists of two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the second with bunk beds. The bathroom has both a bath and shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas hob and a convection microwave with an open plan lounge area cornered by a fireplace perfect for those winter evenings.
During the summer months, outdoor living is supported by the gas braai and misters on the balcony to cool the area. The river although not visible from the balcony, is 100 meters in front of the house.
