About our home

Our log cabin is at “Oubos” on the sea near the town of Kareedouw, a very secure, save and quiet holiday resort on the South Africa Garden Route. The sea view is unsurpassed and there is a beautiful river and lagoon, making it an exceptional sea holiday experience.

More about us

  1. We are semi retired. Johan (58) is a broker and Lu (48) has her own cleaning business. We live in the northern suburbs of Cape Town. We have 3 daughters (23, 21 and 19). They are studying at Stellenbosch university and almost independent, doing their own thing!
    The log cabin at Oubos is our second home.
