“Dan & Khosie’s house is just like coming home.....so welcoming, charming and comfortable. Easy communication with Dan. The photos do not do their home justice! Everything was perfect with a lovely stoep (terrace) to sit on with a glass of wine in hand absorbing the magnificent view. The house itself oozes character and is a heritage building. A beautiful garden and bird life complete the picture. Robertson itself is a charming small town with many more heritage houses and on the Breede River. Visiting Van Loveren vineyard was wonderful walking amongst the many trees that were planted to commentate special events. Just like a mini jungle! Food was very good. A boat trip along the Breede River can be taken from Viljoensdrift vineyard. McGregor village is close by and worth a visit with its many artisan workshops. There’s also a game reserve nearby. Lots to do and well worth a weeks stay!”
