We are a family of 4, my kids ages are 3 & 6, therefore we have an outdoor play area consisting of a wendy house and swings and of course a swimming pool, we are situated above our community gardens and just a walk through them and you will find Granny's pool a fantastic beach and rock pool area, from here you are able to walk in both directions along the coast line. St. franics has much to offer...surfing, fishing, cayaking, mountains, wonderful kite boarding on our lagoon, many walks and trails, golf a world class Jack Niclaus course, many resturants and bars, boutiques and foodmarkets. We are at the start of the Garden Route and have many attractions close by eg. Knysna, Natures Valley and Plettenburg bay to name a few. We are also situated 1 hour drive from Port Elizabeth, with the world famous Addo Elephant park close by. St. francis bay is a holiday destination for South AFricans and foreigner so in our street there are 3 permanent residencies, there is much vegetation all around and we have fantastic ocean and mountain views from our home. Our decor is a mix of french/English style and our home has a very relaxed vibe enjoyed by old and young
Our neighborhood is safe and we enjoy evening and morning walks daily, you will see lots of dogs being walked and families on walks on outdoors. It is quiet and tranquil with a wonderful birdlife and is a short walk through our well maintained community gardens.
Our views are spectacular and I spend all my nights at my kitchen centre block overlooking the ocean and mountains. We have lots of dolphins in the area and regularly see them clearly from my be in the mornings or frm the staircase window overlooking rooftops and ocean. There are 3 main features of St. Francis Bay and this is the canal system, villiage and santareme. The canals are man made and have homes build up around them, the villiage consists of house on the beach front and further back, all white homes with thatch roofs. Santareme where we are situated is Sardinian or Tuscan style homes on the hill overlooking the ocean, with some house being on the front. We have a small port where all our chokka(calamari) industry is housed, and this too is a tourist attraction and has fantastic resturants with great sea food to offer. We are 5 minutes drive or 10minutes walk to everything.
We are a outdoor South african Family with a love for the ocean and traveling. My husband has his own electrical contracting business and I am a stay at home mum! We speak only english. We have many friends all over the world from different walks of life and we are very fond of France and the french lifestyle! So to conclude we enjoy our wine, home and food!
