About our home

Our home is spacious, comfortable, clean and suitable for entertaining family and friends. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (both with bath tubs and showers), an open plan kitchen, TV/family room and dining room (with the scullery around the corner). It also has a separate lounge. The main feature is a very large entertaining/barbecue room with sliding doors to four of the surrounding rooms. We enjoy relaxing in this room, enjoying the beautiful garden and opening the roof to allow the sun to enter. One can also use this area to play table tennis.

We have a large plot (1000 sq metre) and a retired lady lives in a seperate garden apartment. She will look after our loving golden retriever dog during our absence.

More about us

I am the manager of a local non-profit organisation where we provide various skills developoment opportunities to people in and around Stellenbosch. My husband and myself work very hard and enjoy relaxing together at home in the evenings or over weekends. I am inspired by the beautiful environment, the friendly people and all the opportunities that South Africa is offering. Our three children are independent and also live in this area.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Stellenbosh is a university town and one the most popular tourist attractions in SA. It is surrounded by vineyards and produces several fine wines. The house is in a quiet suburb of Stellenbosch with beautiful gardens, near a open children's play area and two excellent golf courses. We are 200 meters from a popular restaurant and a 24 hour convenience store. Stellenbosch is surrounded by several lovely mountains and we are 20 minutes from the nearest beach, 20 min from the airport and 40 minutes from Cape Town (depending on the traffic!).
