About our home

Our home offers a safe haven for anyone traveling to Cape Town. The fact that it is on the top floor of a 2-level apartment building with many windows makes it airy, light and full of great views on Cape Town and Table Mountain. The wooden floor gives it a cosy feel. The area is residential and therefore quiet but still alive as within a 7 minute stroll you will find yourself in Kloof street, the more upscale extension of the popular Long Street. The photos today are not accurate as we are going back to South Africa to completely refurnish the flat. It will be refurnished and available starting February 6 2019 so it will look even better! :-) Still, feel free to reach out for a swap, either for points or direct as starting that date we will be traveling again.

Where is it?

The street in which out apartment is located is a quiet one with hardly any traffic. Within walking distance is are Cape Towns best restaurants and bars, away from the tourist traps along the beaches and mosly filled with locals. Great value! There is a parking spot in front of the flat that is owned by us where you can park and the Kloof neck road leading to Cape Point is just around the corner! A quiet retreat in the busy centre of Cape Town with grocery stores in walking distance as well.
