MINIMUM 5 NIGHT STAY FOR A COUPLE
Welcome to the "Kolkol Suite", our latest accommodation addition on Bakenhof Grape Farm. Our farm is situated between Wellington and Paarl, in the heart of the winelands, approximately 1 hour's drive from Cape Town.
The luxurious self catering unit is set in parklike gardens, offers fabulous views and boasts its own private wood fired hot tub.
This unit is usually rented via our own Bakenhof website (www.bakenhof.co.za) but also sometimes available as a home exchange.
Please note that this unit will mostly be available from Sunday - Friday only, please contact us for availability.
The spacious one roomed unit is open plan and suitable for 2 adults, perfect as a longer stay or base to explore the winelands and to enjoy the tranquil farm life.
The tastefully decorated unit has its own private entrance and patio and offers a King Bed, lounge area, fully equipped open plan kitchen, dining table, en-suite bathroom with shower, bath and WC.
We request a minimum cleaning/laundry fee of R 500 per week or part thereof.
Should this unit not be available, or should you require accommodation for more guests, more units/rooms/suites can be added at additional Guest Points.

We are a semi-retired couple, no kids, only the furry type. Michael is German and I am South African, we live between our house on our wine and grape farm in the winelands, and our beach house on the West Coast of the Cape.
With our airline and tourism industry backgrounds, travel is our passion. We appreciate the other good things in life - nature, design, food, wine, different cultures, art and music - but most importantly special moments with family and friends.
We are very respectful and will treat your home and garden the way we do our own.
We are located in the heart of the Cape Winelands - 55 Minutes from Cape Town, between Wellington and Paarl on a exclusive wine and grape farm.
Bakenhof Farm is the home to Bakenhof Manor House, Bakenhof Winelands Lodge ( www.bakenhof.co.za) and Bakenhof Wedding Venue (www.bakenhof-weddings.co.za).
Many activities and sights in the area, including game safari, golf, horse riding, hiking, wine tasting, restaurants, shopping malls, monuments etc.
This is the ideal base to explore the different wine regions of Wellington, Paarl, Stellenbosch and Franschoek ( known as the foodie capital of South Africa).
From the farm you can also enjoy an African Safari outing ( day trip or overnight) to one of the Private Game Farms in close proximity. There you will enjoy an open vehicle game drive and see the Big 5 in their natural environment. Plenty options include Sanbona Wildlife Reserve, Gondwana, Inverdoorn Game Reserve, Aquila Private Reserve and Garden Route Game Reserve - some only an hour’s drive from the farm.
