About our home

Our home is situated in one of the most prestigious neighbourhoods in Durban, walking distance to all amenities and 3 km's from the promenade and beautiful swimming beach. The house has incredible sea and city views. it has a wrap around verandah and pool. Downstairs flatlet with en suite separate access close to a very large kitchen and scullery. There are two laundries one upstairs and one downstairs. It is a very easy house to live in as it has numerous lounge and dining areas depending on the weather. It comes with a housekeeper, cook, gardner and groundsman. Personal security and off street parking for 4 cars.

  1. We are a couple who love to travel to destinations where we can meet up with our family. We have three daughters. One in Sydney and one in the UK and one in Cape Town. 2 are married, 1 with 2 grandchildren 6 and 4 respectively. Our other daughter is single and lives in Cape Town.

  2. Russell is an accountant and has his own business (semi retired) and is interested in eastern philosophy. Pam is an interior decorator with interests in arts & crafts.

  3. We love Design.

Close to the centre of town, 10 minute uber drive to local history and art museums
Walks in the park
Our famous Mitchell Park is 5 mins walk along a leafy road. Lots of birdlife and vervet monkeys
Spot of exercise
The beach promenade is 5 km's from home and great for cycling, bikes available and to hire should you prefer.
Day tripping
Access to private game park. The north coast beaches and a day with the Dolphins. South coast great for diving. The Boer War battlefields a 2 hour drive to see a typical african village. A township tour and visit to a shabeen, an informal township bar.
