About our home

It is a very comfortable flat with 3 bedrooms (2 double beds and 2 single beds), 1 sitting/dining room, 1 bathroom and 1 kitchen. On the second floor of an outstanding building from 1968, but renewed 15 years ago.
Quiet neighbourhood with gardens and playground. Stores and bars nearby. About 40’ walking to town centre and main beaches in town, and 50nmetres to the bus stop: numbers 1A, 4 and 12A. Near to the bus and train stations connecting to Santiago de Compostela (30minutes) and main towns in the region.

More about us

  1. I am a retired woman, Lola, 66 years old and I travel with my friend María José, who can exchange her flat in Madrid. We would like to find a home in Dublin to stay there minimum for 2 weeks and maximum for 1 month.

  2. I was a Spanish teacher in Dublin, at DCU, and translator and tour guide in Galicia. My friend María José is retired as well and used to work for Telefónica.

  3. We love literature, theatre, cinema, going out with friends to pubs and restaurants and visiting new places.

Where is it?

The neighbourhood is quiet and green, Barrio das Flores, but it is right next to a lively area, Matogrando, full of bars, restaurants and all kind of stores. My sister and brother-in-law, who speaks good English, are living there and they can show you around and tell you about the town.
A Coruña is situated on the Atlantic coast and it has a seaside promenade 12km long. You can visit the Torre de Hércules, a Roman lighthouse World Heritage Site, and walk around the old town by the harbour and the buzzy town centre.
