It is detached from the house with high ceilings, twin beds, kitchen area with sink, kettle, microwave and fridge and a shower room with walk-in shower, basin and wc. This studio apartment is not let separately.
In the main house wide steps lead up to the front door and down into the pool area on one side of the house. The super-kingsize master bedroom is downstairs with adjoining bathroom and toilet. It has windows on both sides to catch the breeze which are both fitted with mosquito blinds. The other double bedroom in the house is upstairs, with its own ensuite facilities, a separate dressing room with floor to ceiling wardrobes and a french window with views to the mountains. The studio apartment is also selfcontained and is reached by a narrow staircase. Fans are provided in each bedroom.

The villa has the advantage of being in the countryside but is only 10 minutes drive to the nearest beach in Denia and 2/3 minute drive (or 15 minute walk) to the village of La Xara with its many shops, bars and restaurants.
The village of La Xara (mentioned in ""Spanish Lessons"" by Derek Lambert) has a number of bars, restaurants, banks, a supermarket and a chemist. The house is 10 minutes drive to the town of Denia with its tree lined main street leading down to the working fishing port and nightly fish market. The tourist information centre offers details of local fiestas and activities. Javea is 15-20 minute drive away. Both towns have fishing ports, marinas, beach areas with water sports and extensive shopping facilities as well as a host of cafes, bars and restaurants. The nearby mountains offer chances to explore the real Spain by car or on foot.
The house looks south over a valley to Resort La Sella which has a number of clay and all weather tennis courts. Lessons and courts can be booked by visitors. The resort also has a horseriding centre, a boule court, a small supermarket and pharmacy and a small cafe/bar and restaurants. All these facilities are open to visitors.
