About our home
Bright, colourful and cozy flat on the 4th floor (no lift) of a quiet building in a residential neighbourhood. What we like most (and probably you too) is to have an aperitif, el vermut, on the balcony, our little haven, on a sunny day surrounded by plants and flowers. Evenings are for low lighting to provide rest, relaxation, an intimate dinner and maybe a glass of wine in our dining room

Christopher 's reviews
As a host (3)“We really enjoyed our first swap! The apartment is nice, comfortable, and well organized. It is located near 3 metro lines and we could get anywhere we wanted, very easily with just a few stops. During the swap, we also worked a little and the internet speed never failed us. Highly recommended!”
“We really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment is in a residential area with no tourists at all, where bars and restaurants are really cheap. The apartment has aircon which we thoroughly appreciated and a small balcony. The bedroom is small and the bed itself even smaller, our feet where sticking out.....but we Dutchies are the tallest people of the world ;) And we didn't loose any sleep over it. The host Christopher is very friendly and quick in his communication, we could borrow towels and a beach umbrella to take with us to the beach. I can recommend going to Ocata beach, you can easily get there by train and the beach is so much nicer and quieter than in Barcelona itself. Overall I can recommend staying here, and I would swap again immediately! ”

I'm Chris a Scotsman from Barcelona, almost Catalan after many years living here. I love travelling but feel I need a little longer to discover a city and exchanging my home is a great way to do it. Previous swaps have been easy and successful
-
I'm a teacher so my passion is people, having friends over, meeting for dinner, going out to events. No kids so I have more time to enjoy a great lifestyle in Barcelona, a vibrant and wonderful city.
-
I also love to go to museums and exhibitions and I'm a big football fan so I'm never short of things to see and do.

Where is it?
Neighbourhood
A quiet, leafy, residential area a short walk away from the modernist masterpiece Hospital Sant Pau. Lots of local bars, terraces, shops and 10 minutes from a bustling shopping centre. 2 minutes from the metro which takes you to the centre in 10 minutes and frequent buses. Communication could not be better. There is no free car parking in the street but in the city you really don't need a car.
