About our home

Our sanctuary, our home - in a 19th-century house, with high ceilings, plenty of space, large windows looking down onto the vibrant and historian "Passeig del Born".
Every room boasts high-end floor finishing, original roof brick ceilings and the whole apartment is classy & cosy at the same time.
1 Kingsize bed (160x200 cm), 1 Queensize bed (140x200) + 1 Sofa Bed (130x200), 2 bathrooms, 1 whirlpool bathtub. Gourmet Kitchen with American and normal refridgerator, etc.
Located excellently next to the Gothic Quarter, Barceloneta beaches are just a 5-10min walk away and our home park (Parc de la Ciutadella) next door.

Included:
1 scooter (Scomadi - retro Vespa type. Pls advise beforehand), 1 electric scooter (Xiaomi Mi), 1 bicycle (Specialised), wall-mounted LCD tv (incl PrimeVideo & Netflix), wireless WLAN and iMac to be used, 3 balconies for enjoying Catalan vibes & sun. If you would want to swap cars, we have a Mini Cooper Convertible, British Racing Green incl parking free of course.

The main railway station and bus station are just a 2 min walk away, Taxi’s everywhere but all you want to do is probably walk :)
Our very clean and organized private Gym is a 2min walk away, overlooking the beautiful Park Ciutadella (trace pool and gym). We can arrange for a short membership or daily access of €11/day.

We are trustworthy, non-smokers, exceptionally tidy, and very respectful. We will treat your home the same way as you hopefully will ours!

More about us

  1. We are Eva & Grace (daughter), and sometimes for travelling 2 family members from San Francisco and Germany.

    For 20 years, we have been enjoying life in Barcelona whilst living and working independently in 3 homes - our sanctuaries, combining work with travelling worldwide.

  2. I work in my studio in our sunny attic apartment as an artist agent (ivoryproduction.com) and am also a singer/songwriter/producer. Our daughter (born in 2003) is attempting acting and psychology.
    We often travel independently from one another.
    We are very experienced HomeSwappers in HomeExchange (a different platform), and now very much enjoying first Home exchanges in LoveHomeSwap.

  3. We love art, nature, creativity, music, theatre, interior design, photography, and sports such as skiing, swimming, etc. We love to go out to artistic venues, enjoy good dining, and always a delightful wine with good music!

    We are non-smokers, exceptionally tidy, and very respectful. We will treat your home the same way as you hopefully will ours!

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Our neighbourhood 'el Born' is one of the most fashionable parts of the city, famous for its international feel, nightlife and wealth of cultural attractions. It is part of the Ciutat Vella (old city).
It also sports an artistic edge with ties to a noble past. Once a seaside property for the medieval aristocracy, this historical neighbourhood now hosts a thriving creative community. Dozens of small museums and galleries complement revered attractions like El Born's Museu Picasso.

Feel like a local and live in the midst of our historical district, with its medieval places and most delicious restaurants & bars, boutiques and galleries on your doorstep.
Walking along the Passeig del Born is like being on a film set.

Local residents of 'el Born' have a say: ¨roda el món i torna al Born¨, which translates into ¨travel the world and come back to El Born¨.
