About our home

Relaxed-hippie style flat in Barcelona. View to the Agbar Tower, big apartment. Lots of cafes around, a park just by the corner. The apartment is located in El Clot´s market square, so fresh fruit, vegetables, fish and so on, just below. El Clot is a great calmed neighborhood just at a 20-minute bicycle ride from the historical center and from the beach. We have Les Encantes vintage market very near, Sagrada Familia is also nearby. Metro, Train Station and tram just besides. We love our place!

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Buzzy restaurants
Catalan, chilean, paraguayan, japanese, arabic... All kinds of foods in the surroundings! Specially recommend Pizzeria La Clotenca, just beneath our building.
Cool bars
Bodega Sopena is one of the oldest, and currently very demanded, bodegas in Barcelona. Has appeared in Time Out and in newspapers. Specially nice for a Vermut or beer Sunday at midday...
Cozy cafés
A lot! Just beneath and in the pedestrian streets nearby.
Retail therapy
Mercado Les Encantes, Glories Mall (where you can also find a Carrefour). Inside the market below our home, there's a little but quiet good supermarket. Also other supermarkets really close (Dia, Bon Area)
Bit of culture
Sagrada Familia, Diseny Hub, Torre Agbar
Walks in the park
Parque el Clot, Parque Glories, Parque Poble Nou. A very nice walk or bicycle trip is to take Av. Diagonal to your left and turn right at the Rambla del Poble Nou, which has trees, restaurants, coffees and little shops all the way to Bogatell Beach.
Spot of exercise
Diagonal Street (goes from here directly to the beach: 2 km.), Parque el Clot, Parque Glories
Day tripping
20-minute bicycle ride to the beach and to the center of the city. 3 blocks from Train Station that goes to many places in the nearby areas, including the airport... And all the great places Barcelona offers!
