About our home
Our large apartment,182 square metres, is in the Eixample district within easy walking distance of the city centre (1.5 km) but away from the tourist crowds. Close to our apartment there is an overwhelming range of attractions to explore. Many of the most famous buildings of Catalan Modernism, including some by Gaudi, are also at hand.
The apartment built in 1905 is in Modernista style, was completely renovated in 2014 and retains the charming features of the period. There are 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living, dining, television and dressing rooms, as well as an eat in gallery. There is ducted air conditioning throughout.
The common areas of the building have recently been renovated and there is a new elevator.

“We had a great stay at Patricia and Tony's luxurious flat which is very central right near all the Gaudí buildings/Passeig de Gracia yet nice and quiet. They were really helpful and were great hosts to communicate with. We had a great time and I'd recommend their place to anyone considering a house swap.”

“Simply wonderful!!! This apartment is so spacious, elegantly furnished, in a fantastic setting. Patricia was an exceptional host with excellent t communication throughout. The bakery downstairs with delicious bread and scrumptious patties was the icing on the cake. Barcelona is an amazing city and Patricia has ensured you have everything you need and more - including a stocked fridge and wine on arrival! Thank you so much Patricia!
Can not recommend highly enough this amazing place and hope to return very soon!! :-)”

“Patricia's flat is simply amazing! My boyfriend and I stayed over New Years and it was such a fun time to visit Barcelona with all the lights and beauty of the city. Patricia's flat added so much to our experience! We really felt like we had an authentic trip and immersed ourselves into the Spanish lifestyle! The apartment is just beautiful, with every modern convenience one could ask for. The mix of the original building beauty with the new kitchens and baths was just sunning! We enjoyed cooking breakfast each day in the large kitchen and taking baths each night to recover from the miles of walking! It was really just perfect. The beds are super comfy and Patricia has decorated with style. Highly recommend! Thanks again Patricia! ”

“In a word, ' Brilliant!'
Patricia and Tony could not have made us feel more welcome and special in their stunning apartment.
They welcomed us so warmly, showing us around their absolutely gorgeous home. It was so light, spacious, charming and stylish.
It is very conveniently located right in the centre of the city in an old stately building with lots of beautiful old features like the intricate tile mosaic floors, ornate high ceilings and lovely authentic old shutters. But this very spacious apartment has all mod cons and it was absolutely pristine. It is beautifully and artistically set up with high quality fittings and contents. The sound system was amazing.
It was fantastic to be so centrally located with every conceivable cafe, bar and shop literally on the doorstep and iconic destinations such as Casa Mila and Casa Batilo just metres away. The Metro is only a 2 minute walk so seeing many places of interest eg The Hospital de Sant Pau and Sagrada Familia, was effortless and pleasurable.
We loved staying here and can promise anyone else who does, that they will be as thrilled as we were! We feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to stay in Tony and Patricia's beautiful apartment! ”
