About our home

This is quintaessential Barcelona: original ceramic floors, high ceillings and classic "modernista" features in an elegant 1900's building, renovated with all the modern needs and decorated with care. We're fans of mid-century modern and love a flea market find. We have two small kids, so it's especially suited for a family with children. Location doesn't get much better: within a 10-minute walk, you'd reach Passeig de Gràcia, the Sagrada Família and the beautiful Parc de la Ciutadella. You can also stroll or cycle to the beach. We love the city, so we can provide you with plenty of addresses for restaurants, cultural landmarks and places to avoid the tourists crowds.
Our place is the perfect starting point for your Catalan adventure. From here you can easily travel by car or public transport to thr beautiful Costa Brava or the nearby beaches of Sitges and the Maresme.

Neighbourhood

Eixample Dret is the best Barcelona has to offer: close enough to all the tourist attractions but quiet and residential enough to feel like a "barceloní". You can reach Passeig de Gràcia, home of Gaudí's La Pedrera in one metro stop or a 10-minute walk and we're also close enough to the Sagrada Família, Parc de la Ciutadella and even the beach. The main artery of our neighbourhood is Passeig Sant Joan, a leafy avenue with wide avenues full of restaurants and nice cafes to have meals alfresco. Also plenty of little playgrounds for kids.
