About our home

Our home is a quiet and cozy 3-bedroom apartment located in the trendiest and at the moment most exclusive area in town (right in front the Born Market and the Ciutadella Park). We’re walking distance from the beach (15 min), the gothic quarter (10 min) and the most popular sights in town. Extremely easy commuting (metros, trains and buses).

You’ll be surrounded by very good restaurants, lovely terraces and nice cafes to work from. At night, it’s one of the best locations for live music spots and drinks.

There is a great gym 2min away, the Santa Caterina Market with fresh and organic products, and several supermarkets and bodegas for those who appreciate good food as much as we do ;)

The 1900 modernist building was recently renovated. It has a beautiful marble entrance and our flat is in the 5th floor (yes, there is an elevator).

The entire apartment has modernist floor tiles and we painted it all white just 2 weeks ago. It has gas heating and A/C, a washing machine, a dishwasher and tons of light.

It has two double bedrooms and a third one that we use as a closet. The sofa can be converted into a double bed too.

The sunny terrace is perfect for dinners outdoors, it has great views over the Market, Mount Tibidabo and the old city. The balcony on the other side of the flat is ideal for romantic and sunny breakfasts all year long.

We're a Spanish-French couple in their thirties. Gisela is a psychologist, Alex is a neuroscientist who is about to enrole a 5-month stay in Princeton University. We're looking for a home exchange in NYC (ideally Brooklyn) from mid-late August until January.

More about us

  1. We love jazz. Like seriously.

  2. Gisela cooks the best paella de mariscos in Barcelona. Ok, maybe the second best.
